About

On the way to CologneWhat is a twisted raisin?

It’s simply an amusing pseudonym that arose from conversations with a friend. I’ve found more and more as well, it tends to embody my thoughts on wine, beer, spirits, and food.

“Oh no, lost again…?”

It came from the fact that I like exploring, and at one point I had a picture taken of me in London, with a tourist map turned upside down and looking a bit confused that got captioned with that title.

What are you doing here?

Well I’ve been looking for years for something to actually write about, but it seems to me that after spending a few months haunting the blackberry forums, I thought I should write about mobile communications. The decision was also brought about by an interview I did with Wireless Week based on my use and presence on the the Funambol users mailing list. Then I realized that I could write about food and wine and beer as well, because damnit, it’s my blog, and I can do what I want to. In fact, that’s all I intend to write about (along with the rest of my life) from here on out, as I realized I like reading about mobile communications, but I don’t particularly like writing about them.

Where else can I find you?

Online, you can find me on livejournal as corollary, on sparkpeople as corollary, on ravelry as corollary (Login required), on last.fm as TwistedRaisin, and on BeerAdvocate as TwistedRaisin.

Offline, you can find me often enough at the Fillmore Pub in Plano, Texas, any number of American Airlines Admiral’s Clubs waiting for a flight, or the gym near my house. If you should ever see me, introduce yourself! I’ll buy you a beer or a glass of wine!

Possibly, too, you might find me in one of the following places:
